Angeliki Rebelou. Born and grew up in Athens, she became a passionate yoga student and a Vipassana meditation practicioner, after getting her first degree in Architecture.
Searching to embrace a more relaxed and healthier pace of life, as well as to escape the big city, she decided to relocate to Crete in 2011. Here her journey with her love of Yoga began more in earnest, with a 2 year study of Asthanga Yoga. She then trained in traditional Hatha with the Indian Yogi Harischchandra (200hr, YAI) and further with Iyengar-Wall Yoga under Martin Zilbauer in Germany.
Founder of “Yoga Class” she currently teaches here in Chania, where her warmth, tenacity and infectious energy create a holistic environment for her students to learn and play. Combining different Yoga techniques, focusing on breathing and natural flow, she specialises on the body’s alignment within the asanas.
When she isn’t on her mat, you can find her swimming or hiking, enjoying music and traveling to places off the beaten track. She believes her most treasured moments in life are when she attunes to nature and explores her secrets…
