About Yoga Class Chania

Yoga Class Chania is a cosy, boutique yoga studio in the heart of Chania in beautiful Crete. The aim of our studio is to provide a welcoming, safe environment to practice yoga while paying individual attention, honoring and embracing each practitioner’s need for personal growth, well being and fulfillment. We offer daily Vinyasa yoga classes, Iyengar Wall yoga, yoga classes for beginners, prenatal and postnatal yoga, traditional Hatha Yoga, and free meditation classes. Our yoga lessons are suitable for all levels of yogis and speakers of Greek and English. Each class is a journey closer to our core: our true self, and everybody is welcome!

Originally designed by B.K.S. Iyengar, Iyengar Wall Yoga is an exciting method of practicing yoga asanas with the help of adjustable belts that are fixed on a yoga wall, in certain heights. By using gravity as natural resistance, this system enables the yogi to attain accuracy, agility, centering and balance in every posture, and receive therapeutic benefits by remaining in the asana longer with less effort.
